Zipolite is a very long beach that stretches for over a mile and is extremely popular with backpackers. Zipolite is also famously a nudist beach. There are plenty of places to eat and stay in Zipolite village. Zipolite beach is about a 10 minute drive from Puerto Ángel.

Mazunte Beach – Puerto Ángel, Oaxaca
Mazunte is a beautiful large white sandy beach located about half an hours drive from Puerto Ángel. It is famous for the turtles which come to lay their eggs there every year and Mazunte is also the location of the Living Museum of the Marine Turtle (Museo Vivo de la Tortuga Marina).

Main Beach – Puerto Ángel , Oaxaca
The main beach (Playa Principal) is also known as the Playa del Muelle (Wharf Beach) and is the closest beach to the centre of Puerto Ángel. It is a small beach with beautiful white sand. Boat tours and fishing trips depart from the wharf that gives the beach its name.
