La Esmeralda Waterfall – Oaxaca
La Esmeralda waterfall is formed by the Esmeralda River diving around 100 meters to the ground, bouncing off many outcrops on the way down, making it an unforgettable site. The waterfall is surrounded by pine and oak woodland which provides an idyllic backdrop for this beautiful natural attraction. La Esmeralda is located near the town of Santiago Yosondúa, about 4 hours drive from Oaxaca City.
