La Guacamaya – Oaxaca
La Guacamaya is located Just outside Etla making La Guacamaya the closest of all the ecotourism sites of the Sierra Norte, and also the newest. The Waterfall at Arroyo Guacamaya is also called La Gaucamaya which is the name of a bird species that lives in the area. While visiting the Guacamaya waterfall you might also want to try doing some hiking or mountain biking. There are also restaurant facilities, cabañas (log cabins), and an adventure play area for children.
