Arrazola – Near Oaxaca
Arrazola is well known for its production of alebrijes and there are a number of recognised artisans here which keep reproducing their fantastic imaginations in copal wood. Arrazola village itself is quite a pretty village but aside from the alebrijes there isn’t much else to see.
Arrazola is located about a half hour drive from Oaxaca City. If you don’t have a car there are plenty of tours and it’s quite easy to get there by bus or colectivo.
