Café Royal is situated in one of Oaxaca’s most representative structures of the 16th Century and is a historic testament to the City of Oaxaca. This building was built at the end of 1528, and served as a home for the Dominican Friars whilst the Santo Domingo de Guzman church was being finished. Also known as ‘the house of the bells’ Café Royal is a magical place where you can spend enjoyable moments and admire works of Oaxacan art.
